"Make your passion your profession..."

I had aspirations to become a makeup artist long before I decided to turn them into a reality. I have always been fascinated by makeup and the way it can completely transform someone’s appearance. My mother always joked that I was born putting on lipstick! I had been unofficially doing hair and makeup for friends and family for most of my adult life, and after an unfulfilling few years working in admin, I decided to turn my passion into a career. I studied an HND in Specialist Hair and Makeup at West Thames College, where I earned Student of the Year in my first year and graduated with distinction in June 2016. In October 2016, they called to invite me back to teach makeup and body painting part time. I now divide my time between teaching and freelance makeup.

I am equally comfortable creating a timeless, natural bridal look as I am smearing a client in fake blood or painting them to look like a tree if that is what is required! I listen to what the client is asking and will always advise the best way to achieve it. My approach is creative, friendly and professional. I always try to look at the bigger picture so that I can deliver what is asked of me, no matter how strange the request! I am very hard working, have a keen eye for detail and am a strong believer that we never stop learning, so I am constantly pushing myself to be better.

I have had the chance to participate in some amazing projects and always throw myself in fully. For previous shoots I have also created backdrops, accessories, and was responsible for costume and/or styling. If you require a bespoke piece to enhance your design, please don't hesitate to discuss this with me. I love to be part of the whole journey. If you think you would like to work with me then please do get in touch. I am based in London/Surrey/Middlesex and the surrounding areas, but am very willing to travel for jobs.
